Usually for Halloween Brookfield Zoo Vice President of Animal Programs Bill Zeigler takes Brian O’Keefe to visit one of the more nightmareish critters at the zoo. That was certainly the case this time around when they stepped inside the zoo’s swamp building

Every few weeks Bill takes First Light host Brian O’Keefe to one of the exhibits at the zoo…this time around they visited the Hamill Family Wild Encounters building where handlers brought out a serval, it’s one of the species that serves as an animal ambassador at the zoo

In years gone by, the building was reserved for the zoo’s Humbolt Penguins; but now it also houses an exhibit that celebrates an eco-system that is much closer to home
