Remembering The Great Flood Of 1993

This week, in the First Light look at stories from around the state, we have this story from Illinois Public Radio’s Sean Crawford. Wednesday marked a quarter of a century since an event that wiped some communities off the map. The Great Flood of 1993 was one of the worst natural disasters in the country’s history. It also showed the best in people who came to the aid of those in need.
