This week in the First Light look at stories from around the state, Dixon, in North Central Illinois, is one of the communities in the state that was once home to a U.S. President. Illinois Public Radio’s Guy Stephens has the latest on an effort to save Ronald Reagan’s first boyhood home. Just a couple of years ago the Washington Post described the home as “falling apart.” Today, things look much better; but the museum’s says more needs to be done.
