Interest In Lacrosse Grows Across Illinois

This week in our look around the state, let’s turn to the sports section with Illinois Public Radio’s Bryan Bloodworth. Lacrosse is a Native American game dating back to the 1630s. It came into its present form on the east coast and slowly made its way to the Midwest. Small colleges and universities increasingly use the fringe sport to recruit students.
