This week in First Light’s look at stories from around the state. Another chapter of the state’s automotive history is being written in central Illinois. A few years ago, the electric vehicle company Rivian bought the former Mitsubishi plant in Bloomington with the promise of bringing clean car technology to the prairie. The wait is now over, earlier this month Rivian debuted its first vehicles at the L-A Auto Show. Illinois Public Radio’s Ryan Denham was there and has this story
