Each month at First Light, through a partnership with Giving DuPage, Brian O’Keefe takes some time to highlight one of the county’s non-profit agencies and the volunteer opportunities they offer people that want to give back to the community. For this month’s ‘Doing Good’ segment, Brian took a bit of a departure to visit with Giving DuPage Executive Director Shefali Trivedi. Shefali leads the public-private organization that coordinates the county’s push to increase volunteerism.
This week, First Light host Brian O’Keefe kicks off the third year of “Doing Good.” The monthly segment is a partnership with Giving DuPage. One the second Sunday of the month, Brian spotlights non-profit agencies in the area and the volunteer opportunities they provide for people that want to give back to their community.
